Jewellery Care

All jewellery is made from sterling silver. This is 92.5% silver and 7.5% other metals (mainly copper) which strengthen it and make it possible to work with.

Sterling silver naturally tarnishes with the exposure to air. It is best cleaned with a jewellery polishing cloth which is impregnated with anti-tarnish agent.
If there are details on your jewellery that a cloth cannot reach silver dip can be used.

Bamboo Collection

Please do not wash or bathe in your bamboo jewellery. It is recommended that you use a silver cloth to clean where possible. If the details inside your jewellery become tarnished please apply silver dip with a small paintbrush, rinse and dry.

If you wish you may occasionally buff up the bamboo with a furniture wax or polish and soft cloth.

Split Cube Collection

Many of the pieces in the split cube collection are oxidised, this blackens the surface. This is a chemical process that treats the surface of the silver which, over time, will gradually wear away especially in highly touched areas.

Many of the pieces in the Split Cube collection have ebony details. Please do not wash or bathe in jewellery containing wood.

If your item has both silver and oxidised areas and the silver needs cleaning please apply silver dip with a paintbrush, rinse and dry.

If you wish you may occasionally buff up the ebony with a furniture wax or polish and soft cloth.

Your jewellery can be re-oxidised at any point. Please contact us for a quote.

Pyramid Collection

See general jewellery care above for silver pieces.

Pieces with black rhodium plating will need very little attention. A light buff with a jewellery cleaning cloth will remove any greasy finger prints.
